RAID 6 data guarding technology allows to tolerate two drives failures concurrently, and still can keep the integrity of whole data. Nowadays, the available storage capacity is lager and larger resulting from continuous development of hard disk technology. According to the statistic, when the capacity of hard disk is over 500GB, there may be about 5% average defects in data rebuilding. Only ASIC RAID 6 engine can reduce the data failure during rebuilding and eliminate the bottleneck, to provide the reliability 1000 times better than RAID 5. |
